Everything depends on making money with your harbors and harassing your opponents with merc raids to disrupt their economies. This is basically the Great Britain clan.

The Raven clan allows you to do all kinds of interesting land-sea coordinated missions. As long as you can survive if you go up against Fenrirs, eventually you’re going to have an advantage in tech and financial resources and you’re going to overwhelm them. The Boars are a clan that supports a more non-aggressive playstyle that allows you to do some fantastic late game booming as you steadily build an economic powerhouse, high-population/high tech machine. If you’re the Boar clan, your clan can support a steady, slow, buildup. The Fenrirs can’t support large populations, which makes it hard for them to support -or fight off- larger fighting groups that will show up in the late game. This is the early game clan, because by the late game if you haven’t already won, you’re in trouble. For instance, if you’re the Fenrir clan, you’d better be aggressive and military your bonuses rely on killing wolves and bears, fighting in hostile territory, and the ability of your berserkers to colonize without paying this is the clan for territory expansion winning.
